The 9th Biennial International Indigenous Research Conference brings together well renowned Indigenous researchers in all disciplines to share and inspire new research connections and promote research excellence. This large event will be hosted in an innovative virtual conference platform, OnAIR for the very first time. We invite you to join us in discovering this dynamic environment, to share and engage nationally and internationally during these times of global travel restrictions.

The conference programme is advertised in local New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT).

HOW DO I ACCESS THE VIRTUAL CONFERENCE PLATFORM?

All registered delegates will receive an email notification with their unique login details on 16 November 2020. We recommend you log in as soon as you can to familiarise and navigate the virtual conference platform before we start. 

With over 50 live facilitated discussion sessions scheduled in the programme you will want to build and customise your timeline and set up your online profile to make new and renew connections.

CAN I SHARE MY LOGIN FOR THE VIRTUAL CONFERENCE PLATFORM? 

No, each delegate will be provided a link to the virtual conference platform that is uniquely tied to their registration and cannot be opened on multiple devices at the same time.

WHAT IS THE LIVE FACILITATED DISCUSSION SESSION?

The Live Facilitated Discussion Session is designed to increase engagement between the researcher and the audience on the day. These sessions provide an opportunity to discuss any questions raised after viewing the pre-recorded video presentation. Powerpoint presentations and pre-recorded videos will not be able to be viewed during these sessions. We do recommend you view the pre-recorded video prior to attending this interactive session.
